The Digital Economy and Society Minister, Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, travelled to Singapore yesterday to signal a digital partnership settlement with Singapore’s Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong.
Chaiwut, together with the Thai ambassador to Singapore, and the Thai PM’s secretary, met with Gan Kim Yong and agreed to promote eight items on the MoU agenda, including digital transformation, e-commerce insurance policies, pretend information centre, government data centre and cloud service, personal knowledge protection, investment in Thailand’s Digital Valley and IoT Institute, and the development in digital abilities and literacy.
Chaiwut and his group also visited Singaporean Communications and Information Minister, Josephine Teo, to debate the private data protection venture in additional element. The 50 yr previous Thai minister revealed Singapore is in a position to assist Thailand in managing the program.
Chaiwut says the Singaporean government is excited about digital investment and wished to help Thailand fulfil its high potential in that space and appeal to the attention of a model new technology of traders.
